Jeanne Tripp is the Manager of Administrative Operations for the Hampshire, Mount Holyoke, and Smith Colleges Campus Police Department, headquartered in South Hadley.
The department provides law enforcement services for a total of approximately 8,000 students and employees. Ms. Tripp began her career in campus policing as a dispatcher and officer for Mount Holyoke College in 1990.
In her current role, Ms. Tripp manages the department’s accreditation process as well as the federal Clery Campus Safety and Security Act compliance for the three colleges. Ms. Tripp led Mount Holyoke’s efforts to become certified and accredited in 2003 and 2004 respectively. She oversees the three campus police administrative offices which provide administrative support to the department and parking management. She assists her department with the administrative pieces of the hiring process, budgeting, statistical analysis, and management of personnel records.
Ms. Tripp has been a member of the Commission’s Standards Committee, and has had the honor and privilege to serve as an Assessor for over a decade. She received a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College in 1990.
