Michael J. Bradley, Jr. is the Chief of Police in Upton, Massachusetts. Chief Bradley has been a police officer since 1994 starting his career as a reserve officer before being hired full time in Upton in 1995. In 2001 he was promoted to Sergeant, a position he held until 2008 when he was named Chief of Police. Under Chief Bradley’s guidance, the Upton Police Department achieved Certification status in 2011 and later received Initial Accreditation in 2012. Chief Bradley joined the Commission in 2016.

Chief Bradley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Curry College and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Framingham State University. He is also a graduate of Command Training Program at the New England Institute of Law Enforcement Management. Chief Bradley resides in Upton with his wife and three children.
