Chief Stevens has over 32 years of Law Enforcement experience and is currently the Chief of Police in Hamilton Massachusetts.

Prior to his current position, Chief Stevens served on the Connecticut State Police retiring as the Chief of Staff to the Colonel with the rank of Lieutenant. He has held a wide array of operational and administrative positions to include: Commanding Officer of the Emergency Services Unit, Training Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Training Academy Deputy Commandant, Barracks Commander, Field Training Officer/Supervisor and SWAT Team Leader.

Chief Stevens is an adjunct professor at North Shore Community College and is a graduate of the 232 Session of the FBI National Academy. He is the President of the Municipal Police Training Institute and 3rd Vice President of the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association. He holds a M.A. in Criminal Justice and a B.A. in Communications.
