Agencies in the Stage 3 – Self-Assessment Phase may request an expedited initial assessment for either certification or accreditation. To be considered for expedited review, the following conditions must be met:
- Compliance Readiness – A PowerStandards status report demonstrating at least 60% compliance must be submitted to MPAC for review.
- If the request for an expedited assessment is approved, the agency will be scheduled on the assessment calendar no less than 12 months prior to the assessment date, based on the availability of assessment teams and calendar openings.
- All remaining requirements and deadlines within the existing assessment timetable must be followed without modification.
