On May 18, 2017 at the Massachusetts Chiefs of Police Association meeting Chief Mark Leahy was recognized for his service as President of the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission from 2013 through 2016. He was presented with an award by current President Chief Matthew Clancy and Vice President Chief Russell Stevens.
